Today, our Kindergarten through 2nd Grade students showed their school spirit at the Unified Olympics Young Athlete Obstacle Course! Selected K-2 students took on the challenge, while their classmates cheered them on as proud fans in the stands, supporting either the Red Team or Blue Team.
It was an incredible event filled with teamwork, determination, and lots of cheering! We are so proud of our young athletes for their effort and enthusiasm. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event special!

Tuesday our Kindergarten and 1st grade students listened to storyteller, Tamara Green (https://storytellertamaragreen.com/). She told us about Anansi, a trickster spider, a character rooted in African American folklore a we continue to celebrate Black History Month. The students even participated with their own colorful props! Thank you to the McLin Foundation for funding this interactive storyteller experience!
